The Shea’s Summer Musical Theatre Intensive, or SSMTI, is a two-week day camp for students ages 10-17. At SSMTI our students take classes in dance, acting, writing, and vocal music all while preparing for the final showcase of their own original musical. During our two weeks together, the students work together in groups of about 10-15, supervised by a director and stage manager to write, rehearse, and design a 10-minute musical which includes an original song. At the end of camp all the students come together for a huge showcase of all their musicals. In 2023, SSMTI had 80 students attending camp everyday and each year we continue to grow.
