Shea’s Buffalo Theatre and Shea’s Smith Theatre
Theatre Opening – the Theatre lobby opens one hour before the performance time indicated on your ticket. Seating begins approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled performance time.
There are various parking lots located within a short walking distance to Shea’s which range in price starting at $3 (the M&T Bank lot on Washington Street, a short walk through the Market Arcade Cinema or the alley to the right of the Cinema entrance, will take you to Main St. across from Shea’s Main Entrance/"Shea’s Buffalo" marquee at 646 Main St.). Lesser priced lots include the Ausberger Lot on Pearl St., just past Chippewa and parking on Washington St. along the street.
Main St. between Tupper Ave. & Chippewa St. recently opened to vehicular traffic and patron drop-offs are permitted at the designated marked areas on Main St. before the Shea’s Buffalo marquee and immediately after the marquee. Please do not stop or park under the rail arm.
A pre-paid parking plan is offered to Shea’s subscribers on a first-come, first-serve basis in designated parking lots on Pearl St. & Main St. Information can be obtained at our Box Office or by calling 716-847-0850.
General Public Entrances are 439 Pearl St. (Shea’s Buffalo marquee), 646 Main St. (Shea’s Buffalo blade sign/marquee) and the Shea’s Box Office, 650 Main St.
The following entrance provides the best accessibility with no stairs:
Theatre Place: The closest parking is the lot located immediately south of Shea’s on Pearl St. This lot is limited in size however provides handicap-accessible access to Shea’s by proceeding through Theatre Place to Main St and entering through the Main St entrance located at 646 Main St. Shea’s Smith Theatre is slightly farther up Main St. at 660 Main St., next door to Shea’s Box Office.
Seating and Special Assistance Needs - Special seating and special assistance needs must be ordered in advance. Please call the Shea’s Ticket Office in advance at 716-847-0850.
PLEASE NOTE: Shea’s is a National Historic Site and does not have an escalator or an elevator. All wheelchair accessible seating is located on the orchestra level. Please plan accordingly when choosing your seating. For our seating chart, please go to www.sheas.org.
Signed Performances - Upon advance request at our ticket office (716-847-0850), there will be signed performances for the hearing impaired at the Wednesday evening performance of the Broadway Series shows. NOTE: the signed peformance for the Addams Family will be Tuesday, December 6.
Seating Holds – Most productions require Shea’s to discontinue seating patrons at the start of the performance. This ‘seating hold’ usually lasts until the conclusion of the opening song. Occasionally there is a similar hold at the start of the second act.
