Camp Broadway

Proclaimed "The Camp of Dreams," Camp Broadway® Mainstage is designed for theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, to develop their confidence, character and presentation skills through ensemble performance. Open to all children, regardless of previous performing experience, this 5-day program encourages aspiring artists and future audiences through a wide array of classes, workshops and experiences. A staff of experienced Broadway professionals work closely with small groups to immerse our young cast in an active rehearsal process that features an authorized script and score from a popular Broadway musical that enables all campers to successfully stretch their skills. Inspired by Broadway’s cherished works and steeped in its grand traditions, the program culminates in the Family Finale, a musical showcase presented onstage at Shea’s Buffalo Theatre.

CAMP BROADWAY’s summer program includes instruction in voice, acting, dance, movement and solo and ensemble singing while learning and rehearsing dialogue, musical numbers and dance routines for a featured Broadway musical. The week program culminates in the Family Finale - a final presentation for family and friends. This program is taught by theatre professionals from the Broadway community who have appeared in such shows as 42nd Street, City of Angels and Me and My Girl to name a few.

The five day program runs from 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. The participation fee is $550 per camper. A limited number of scholarships are available via application. To ensure that classes are intimate and campers receive personal attention, space is limited. Spaces do fill quickly so early registration is suggested.
